Nikoline Due is a Danish freelance dancer, choreographer and movement director based in Copenhagen. Her artistic practice explores musicality, collaboration and the relationships that emerge through movement. Working between choreography, improvisation and performance, she creates physically driven works where structure and spontaneity coexist.
 

Since 2018, Nikoline has worked internationally as a performer and collaborator. From 2023–2026, she toured extensively with Emanuel Gat Dance in LOVETRAIN2020 and Freedom Sonata, performing across Europe and Asia. As a freelance artist, she has collaborated with companies and institutions including The Royal Danish Ballet, Danish Dance Theatre, Holstebro Dansekompagni, Wang Ramirez, Uppercut Danseteater and Copenhagen Opera House.
 

Alongside her performing career, Nikoline has developed an independent choreographic practice rooted in collaboration and interdisciplinary creation. Her debut work, I Saw It Drop, received first prize at Copenhagen’s Youth Choreography Competition. In 2025, she co-created Riders with Cuban choreographer Abel Rojo, a commissioned work by The Royal Danish Ballet for Copenhagen Made, premiering at Skuespilhuset. The duet was later selected as a semi-finalist for the International Choreography Competition Hannover 2026.
 

As an educator, Nikoline teaches contemporary dance, improvisation and choreographic methods for professional companies, vocational programmes and higher education institutions. She has taught for The Royal Danish Ballet, The Royal Danish Ballet Summer Intensive in Copenhagen, the Danish National Academy of Performing Arts, ballet schools across Denmark and internationally, including Listdansskóli Íslands in Reykjavík. In 2025, she served as a jury member for the Danish Ballet Awards.
 

Alongside her artistic work, Nikoline is a BASI Comprehensive certified Pilates instructor and is currently developing her own artistic platform, Nikoline Due // Dance, dedicated to the creation of new choreographic works and collaborative projects.
